Il Vicario is a building dating 1300, in the past it was the priest's house and many pilgrims stopped here because it's located along the Via Francigena. It'was restructured with care, maintaining the old style. Just 3 km from San Gimignano it is immersed in the nature where the elegance of panorama is enriched by vineyards, olive groves, woods and typical farmhouse.

Il Vicario is composed by an apartment and six double rooms with private bathroom and each room is different to the other for color but all fitted with antique furniture, wooden beams and old terracotta floor.

Our guests can relax in the panoramic swimming pool looking the tower of the city and taste the delightful specialties of our kitchen and wines in summer or in front of fireplace in winter.

Your cats and dogs are welcome at Il Vicario.

The property is a perfect location to visit Tuscany, we are in the middle of this region, between Siena and Florence, it is the ideal choice to spend an unforgettable holiday in total relaxation in harmony with rhythm of the seasons.
We can offer to our guests also cooking class (half day or full day),wine tasting simple or with brunch, photo workshop around our countryside, medieval dinner, bike and trekking tours with guide and assistance, event’s organization.

DESCRIZIONE
Il Vicario è un'antica canonica del 1300, in passato era la casa del sacerdote e poichè si trovava sulla via Francigena, molti pellegrimi soggiornavano.E' stato finemente ristrutturato, mantenedo intatta la struttura originaria.

A 3 km dal centro di San Gimignano è immersa in un suggestivo scenario naturale dove l'eleganza del panorama è arricchita da vigneti, oliveti, boschi e casali tipici.

Il nostro Bed&Breakfast dispone di un appartamento e sei camere tutte con bagno privato, ognuna diversa dalle altre per il colore, ma tutte arredate con mobili antichi, pavimenti in cotto originari del 1300 e travi a vista.

Al Vicario è possibile gustare piatti tipici toscani, davanti al focolare in inverno o a bordo piscina, con vista sulle torri di San Gimignano, in estate.
Anche i vostri amici a quattro zampe sono i benvenuti, per trascorrere una vacanza indimenticabile, in assoluto relax seguendo il ritmo delle stagioni.
