Location: It is perfectly positioned right in the very heart of San Gimignano on the main piazza where visitors may enjoy the unforgettable medieval atmosphere among the beautifyl towers of the small town.


During the day the town appeals to you for its palazzos and at night it captures you with its "chiaro- scuro".


This hotel was once an XIth century ancient nobleman's palace which has been now tastefully restored to provide elegant accomodation with many of the original features still exposed.


It is managed by a family who takes great pride in the warm and friendly welcome provided to their guests paying a particular attention to details.


Guestrooms: Its 25 comfortable rooms are spacious, charmimg and sign the building's original timbers and arched ceilings.

They also have a nice view to the square or to the green hills of the countryside.


Public areas: The public areas offer a lounge and a breakfast room which open into a roof top terrace affording lovely views where during spring and summer an appetizing buffet breakfast is served, away from the noise of the town.

You can also sit there in peace during the day to read or just to relax yourself.

Ubicazione: L'Albergo Leon Bianco è locato nel centro di San Gimignano, nella storica piazza della Cisterna.


Ha sede in quello che era originariamente un antico palazzo nobiliare dell'XI secolo che è stato ristrutturato con gusto con servando magnificamente le caratteristiche del passato.


L'Hotel, gestito da una famiglia sangimignanese, offre sin dagli inizi del secolo una calda ed amichevole ospitalità al visitatore che rimane rapito dalla magica atmosfera che lo circonda nella "città delle torri".


Le Camere: Le camere sono spaziose ed arredate con gusto, pavimentate con la tipica terracotta caratteristica del luogo.

Alcune hanno i soffitti ad arco con mattoni rossi, altre hanno affreschi o travi in legno.

Esse offrono una vista panoramica sulla piazza medievale o sulle verdi colline della campagna circostante.


Aree Comuni: Le aree di pubblico accesso comprendono una hall ed una sala colazioni che si affaccia su una pittoresca terrazza a tetto dove durante la bella stagione viene servita la colazione in un clima di calma e rilassatezza.

In alternativa al terrazzo c'è una sala colazioni originariamente rinnovata.
